Dear Friends,
One of the joys – or perhaps hazards – of having a curious mind is that I write about a little bit of everything.
One week it’s Oshkosh.
The next I’m underwater with sharks.
Then I’m photographing hummingbirds, laughing about Coddi, or sharing a personal essay that’s more reflective.
Rather than ending every article with a long list of related links (as I do now), I thought it would be more helpful to create a collection for each topic.
If you enjoy an aviation story, for example, you’ll now be able to continue exploring the Flightline stories via a single link at the bottom.
You will only receive this by email once, but it will live on, in updated form, at the bottom of every flying story I write.
The same idea is coming to Wild Florida, Doghouse, Barn Aisle, Dive Deck, and the rest.
Most pilots want more flying stories.
Most divers want more diving stories.
And some of you curious souls somehow enjoy all of it, traveling with me as my brain refuses to stay in one lane.
(Bless you.)

Airshow Stories

Being curious is what makes people interesting. I enjoy ALL your stories, relatable reflections, perspective, descriptions. Of course, being an aerophile, your aviation themed stories are among my favorite (along with anything about critters). If it's got wings or four legs, I'm all in. (even 8 legs) Having been to AirVenture in Oshkosh 25+ times for the magazine I was the photo editor at (since it's premiere issue!), I thought your stories about this unique gathering during the last week of July for the last 73 years are among the best. And I've read plenty of stories about AirVenture.
