Once again we have been sharing parallels in our lives that I wouldn't wish on anybody. A few months ago I lost my best friend since we were 14 and shortly after, my best friend here in PA. My PA friend was 91 but Doe was 3 months younger than I. Since then it's been a parade of friends passing away and it breaks my heart every time, and it always leads me back to Doe dying. Thankfully I've got this amazing new husband now who stands quietly by while I work through all the feels.
No pets have departed, thankfully.
And through all this, I was reelected to office and am now studying to get my real estate license again. You'd think by now I would want to actually enjoy retirement! Gosh I wish we could get together for a visit!

Formerly the constable in my township and now elected to the Adams County Democratic Committee, second term. Actually the bulk of my work has been representing small business interests with NSBA.
